Hello all,
Well it's been a while since I've updated. I've been pretty busy.
First I went to the Naval Academy for a week, then the Air Force Academy for a week, and finally Boys State for an excruciatingly long week.
I hope you like pictures because there's going to be lots of them...
Here are some pictures from USNA

That is the main entrance to Bancroft Hall, the midshipmen dorm. The thing is massive! It's the biggest dorm in the world and ya... it's pretty big.

the chapel

A bunch of Yard Patrol Craft docked on one of the sides of the campus (techincally it's called the yard)

One of the academic buildings that are all connected by a series of underground labs. Underground labs... that just sounds sweet haha. It's pretty awesome though, scattered thoughout the labs are disabled nuclear torpedos, tomahawk missles, and other cool stuff.

A view of the yard from the mouth of the severn river. Most of the buildings you see in this pic is all Bancroft Hall.
Here are some from USAFA

the back of the chapel and the Rockies in the background

the chapel at night

An F-16 Falcon that is on base. They have a jet at each corner of the quad which they call the Terrazzo.

The scenery around the campus is absolutley gorgeous. You look one way and you are looking over Colorado Springs; You look the other way and all you can see are mountains. The clouds there were always incredible too.

and the part that I care about most...
I could go on forever about my adventures at both places, but I will control myself.
If you want to talk about them just let me know. I'd love to
All in all, both experiences were incredible.
There is not a doubt in my mind that a service academy is where I want to be
and that serving my country is what I want to do.
Now I just have to wait and see where God leads me.
God Bless
